SERVER QUESTIONS
Q: WHAT SERVERS ARE WE USING?
Our Servers are based on either Windows NT or Unix
Q: DO WE SUPPORT CGI AND/OR
PERL?
Yes. All our servers support CGI and Perl. Most of
our Server Accounts will have Telnet and FTP access.
However, certain Budget Packages do not come with
FTP/Telnet Access.
Q: HOW MANY WEBSITES DO WE
HAVE?
Less than 100!
SUPPORT QUESTIONS
Q: DO YOU PROVIDE ANY SUPPORT?
Yes! During office hours, drop us a line, and if it's
after office hours, drop us an e-mail! A prompt reply
is assured!
Q: WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE
BETWEEN World Net Vision AND OTHER Internet Service
Providers? (ISPs)
We are not an ISP . Generally ISP provides Internet
access services , while we provide the space for you
to host your site in order for Internet users to visit
your web site. Besides that, we can design web pages
for you at an extra fee.

Q: WHAT ARE THE CHARGES FOR
ADDITIONAL MAILBOXES?
USD 1/month per mailbox. If there's more than 5 mailboxes,
it would be USD 5/month per mailbox.
Q: WHAT ABOUT ADDITIONAL
SERVER SPACE?
Additional Server Space will cost USD 3/10MB/Month.
DOMAIN
NAME QUESTIONS
Q: HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE
TO REGISTER THE DOMAIN NAME?
It will take 5-10 working days for .com.sg/.com.my
domains. For InterNIC .com domains, it will only require
5-7 working days.
Q: CAN DOMAIN NAME TAKE LONG
NAMES?
Yes. However, it is not recommended.
Q: WHO OWNS THE DOMAIN NAME?
You! Once registered, it is yours.
Q: IS IT NECESSARY FOR A
COMPANY TO BE REGISTERED WITH RCB IN ORDER TO APPLY
FOR THE LOCAL (.SG/.MY) DOMAIN NAME?
Not really, though generally SGNIC/MYNIC requires
the applicant to be a registered organization. Besides
registration with ROC, MYNIC also accept registration/listing
with the Trade Development Board (TDB), Register of
Medical Practitioners, Law Society of Malaysia etc.
